TRIP OVERVIEW
Ramdung Peak 5,925m, also known as Ramdung Go Peak, is a Himalayan mountain first climbed by a Scottish expedition party in 1952. It is located directly above Na village in Rolwaling valley, on the northern side of Tsho Rolpa glacial lake (4,580m) and holy Mt. Gaurishankar (7,134m), on the eastern side of Mt. Everest (8,849m), and on the south ridge of the Numbur Himal (6,958m). This is the source of the Khare Khola River, which runs from Ramdung valley to join the Tamakoshi River at Suridovan in Dolakha, Nepal. This is a great wilderness hiking peak for those who want to enjoy the magnificence of Rolwaling and Ramdung valley's naturally magnificent scenery, stunning mountain peaks, and attractive flora and faunas while consuming food and sleeping at a Camping Tent.
